Adyashanti

Adyashanti's awakening is profound, pure, clear. On top of that, he's a great guy, very humane, and completely unpretentious. He's the real deal.

Adyashanti comes from the Zen tradition, and though he knows perfectly well that there is nothing to achieve, he puts great emphasis on the ripening of that opening through what in Zen is called "skikan-taza."

The literal translation of shikan-taza is "just sitting." That is, it is sitting while being very aware but completely unoccupied. Adyashanti is still relatively young, but already a great credit to his tradition.
