EarthSave was founded by John Robbins. It would be difficult to overestimate how much good he's done through his books and through this organization.
EarthSave advocates a plant-based diet for three reasons: 1) It's better for humans; 2) It's better for the environment; 3) It's better for the animals.
But EarthSave doesn't simply make these statements. They back it up with voluminous evidence. Indeed, one of John Robbins' great contributions has been to assemble the evidence, and to show that self-interest in this area is identical with interest in the planet.
