Frequency

When we get on our knees and pray for something, it is not that there is somebody out there deciding whether to answer it or not; there's nobody there because there is nobody or nothing separate from you.

Rather, you answer it yourself because you are that.

In the very process of making the prayer, you are changing. You're becoming more receptive, more humble, open. This changes your vibration; you vibrate at a different frequency because of the prayer.

That different frequency, in turn, attracts other beings and situations of that frequency; you become magnetic to them and they become magnetic to you. Vibrations of the same frequency attract each other.

And as that happens, the prayer gets answered through you, which is to say, through God. We, who are the infinite, become the channel through which or whom the infinite expresses at that frequency.

In other words, when we pray there is no entity somewhere who is listening. Rather, in the very process of praying we migrate to a new consciousness, a consciousness where our answered prayer exists.

When we affirm, when we visualize, we don't influence reality. Rather, we influence ourselves. We become different. We take on a new consciousness; we become more open, more willing to be harmonious with what is.

That willingness is a new vibration, which then begins to attract events and people and results from that vibration.

Then we're laying back more, even in the midst of extreme activity. We're more willing to see the magic that exists here now when we're willing to listen to it.

There's a knowingness inside us that knows everything. It's always there, 24/7. It can tell us everything.

But most of us prefer running our lives from our feelings and thoughts. When we run our lives from our feelings and thoughts, life inevitably becomes chaotic.

There's no need to reject feelings and thoughts; rather, there's just no need to pay attention. They can be loved and left alone.

And we can turn our consciousness to that inner listening, that listening for the inner voice or guide or intuitive movement or whatever we'd like to call it.

When we listen deeply enough, the energy just moves through us and it feels as if things are happening by themselves, through us.

Like learning to play the piano, the more we listen for that quiet inner guidance the better we get at hearing it.

And the sign that that listening/guidance is occuring is that we feel an inner alignment inside, that life is occuring as it's supposed to—we just don't know where it's going.

Life becomes unpredictable, like a leaf on the wind, and yet floating free.
