Gary Smalley (and his family) has been teaching about relationships for a long time, and his messages about the subject are extremely beneficial. He talks about the basic orientation of honoring the other person, and what that means in practice.
He comes from a Christian perspective, which some may see as an advantage and others may see as a disadvantage. Personally, I've never had any problem with it. I like the way Gary Smalley talks, and he comes from his heart.
