S&P Monthly

One of the features of Ocean is that it does not attempt to forecast all moves. Rather, it attempts to forecast all moves that have the highest probability of following through and returning profits to you.

In that vein, here's a monthly chart of the S&P 500 showing an NMC Cross Kiss Zero Hit from below which occurs on April 30, 2008. A higher low delay bar develops on the next bar ending May 30, 2008. A short entry occurs during June 2008 at a price level of roughly 1376.

Note that earlier in the chart the NMCs have offered both bullish and bearish Cross Kiss Zero Hits (where the NMC or NMC2 crosses above or below zero and then returns to zero). And of course there are many other Ocean indicators (not shown here) which offered powerful confirmatory signals of their own.

Note too the early warning signal given by the BTX two-line (bottom sub-graph, part of the Ocean Pro package) as the green positive line crosses below its moving average and then below its lower standard deviation line.
