STX Timeframes, Pt 10

(This is Part 10 of a series. Go back to Part 9.)

In this weekly chart of the S&P we do observe much more of the “beauty” or “harmony” that we are seeking.

I want to emphasize that there will be many occurrences where the STX will not seem to be in harmony with that market on that timeframe at that particular time. That’s fine, and what it means is that we’re looking at the wrong timeframe or timeframes in that market and that we want to examine other timeframes until you find the one or ones that exhibit the beauty or elegance that we seek.

And if we don’t find them in a particular market at a particular time? Fine, because that’s one of the things that is advantageous about trading: We don’t have to trade any particular market at any particular time, we can choose when to play and when not to. One of a trader’s greatest strengths is the ability not to trade when it is not to his or her advantage to do so.
