This is for those hard-headed types like me, the ones who need to be bopped over the head to get something. This is for you. In honor of him who has needed it the most, let's call it Jimmy's Prescription.
Prescription for what? Well, imagine whatever you would like to control. Think of some situation you'd like to have go "your way." Think of some process for which you're willing to use some type of forcing. Think of something you want to control.
Okay, here's the prescription: You surrender into that process or situation instead. Let it all happen by itself, or not. Instead of trying to control that situation/that person/that process or whatever, you let go into it instead.
Where does it want to go? We just let go into the river of whatever or wherever the totality wants to go with that situation or process.
What is the prescription for? Why, for illness of course. The suffering of thinking that we control something, or ever did, or that we will ever control something, or would even want to.
What's the alternative? Letting the One control it—which It's already doing. It's doing all things at all times. For instance, did you remember to breathe while you were reading this? You didn't have to; it was taken care of for you. Our entire lives are like that.
